Pokémon TCG Pocket Update: "Paradox Drive" is announced!
Just when you thought the Pulsing Aura meta had settled down, the Pokémon Company went ahead and shook up the entire timeline. The highly anticipated next mini-expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket has officially been revealed: Paradox Drive (Set B3a)! The time is ripe with the announcement of the retiring Scarlet & Violet base set; we are awarded the set, available for rips on our favourite TCG app!
According to the official announcement details shared by Beebom, the new set is scheduled to launch worldwide on May 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM PDT (which means players in Singapore can expect the digital packs to drop on the morning of May 28, 2026).

Entering Uncharted Territory: Ancient vs. Future
The Paradox Drive mini-set marks the official introduction of Gen 9's popular Paradox Pokémon into the mobile card pool. Originally appearing in the Scarlet & Violet video games, these unique variants bring two entirely new subcategories to your deck-building screen: Ancient and Future.
The legendary poster mascots are leading the charge for this set:
Koraidon ex: The face of the prehistoric past, representing the high-HP, hard-hitting Ancient card pool.
Miraidon ex: The neon-clad powerhouse of the distant future, bringing highly efficient, tech-heavy synergy to Future deck archetypes.
These subcategories aren't just for show. Just like in the physical tabletop game, certain Trainer cards in this expansion will specifically target "Ancient" or "Future" tags to accelerate energy, boost damage, or draw through your deck with insane speed.
